22november

I remember being a college freshman in English class, 17 years old, scared stiff. And having a crush on my prof. He told us the president had been shot, said there was no point in doing anything. We all left, confused, home.

a rare blue sky wednesday

I know I oughta be doing some more work in my house, but for once I chose to write about the sky. So lazy that I used a little watercolor I painted rather than go outside.

It's from my only trip to the American Southwest; Albuquerque and Santa Fe with my best-friend-since-we-were-five. The skies out there can knock you off your feet.

Where I am, now close to the woodstove, with actual sun coming through the window. In upstate NY, November we generally get gray or white snow skies. So today is a gift! There, I cheered myself up.

cold, snow an inch, sun, gone now

That's what it's like around here. Central New York is changeable

FRinstance an hour ago, Dana shot this when the sun just came out.

Now, it's snowing....
Sigh, I have to post one of my iPad photos to light it up in here.

Now, paint. See you tomorrow

newish stuff

Hi, It's been another difficult, busy, but productive year. I'm painting almost every day. This one's from last year, called "Follies." Price is $500, through PayPal, please.
I'm always looking for suggestions for new paintings. Have been working with green watercolors for a couple months now. Green is tough.
I love to paint from words or phrases, so please make a suggestion.
Thanks for reading.
